Quench your curiosity well with this mixed case of organic wine! Have a look at individual bottles for our wine tasting notes:
  • Domaine de la Couvette Gamay, Beaujolais, France - with several generations of family tradition passed from father to son for over a century, finding an organic wine from Beaujolais has been one of our longer searches. This lovely wine that is garnet-coloured with purple highlights. This organic wine contains a large array  of fruit aromas dominated by ripe red berries. Some spicy and earthy notes as well. It is fruity and well-balanced with a smooth minerality and excellent structure making this very easy to drink. White meats, charcuterie, mushroom dishes as well as fondue will be great with this wine.
  • Bodegas y Vinedos Tinedo Ja!, VDT Castilla, Spain - a beautiful bright red purple colour, very bright and fresh organic red wine. On the nose, it is intense and fruity. In the mouth, alive and fresh, with soft tannins and a juicy aftertaste. Made from 100% Tempranillo grapes, this unoaked red wine will excite with its vibrant and somewhat boystrous character, there are some punchy fruit flavours coming from young fruit and absence of any oak treatment. Ideal for tapas and appetisers as well as chicken, rice and pasta dishes.
  • Armador Carmenere, Central Valley, Chile - made by Norwegian shipbuilder who just suddenly decided to move to Chile and start making wine. He does it according to all organic and biodynamic standards, sustainably and you should definitely try how delicious are those wines! Full of stewed plums and spice, further red berries and some mixed spice on top this Carmenere will not disappoint.
  • Armador Sauvignon Blanc, Odfjell, Casablanca, Chile - this organic Sauvignon Blanc from Chile is all about persistent aromas of citrus fruit and gooseberry on the nose. On the palate this a crisp, zesty, lively wine full of juicy grapefruit with vibrant acidity. The cool climate of Casablanca ensures a crisp and fresh style of Sauvignon Blanc with pronounced aromatics. Ridiculously quaffable on its own and an excellent match for shellfish.
  • Sogno del Sud Grillo, Baglio Gibellina, Sicily, Italy - not only organic, but a delightful Grillo from Sicily. This dry white wine is straw yellow in colour. Aromas are quite intense but pleasant, notes of exotic fruit and spice. Palate is fresh and soft, persistent acidity and fairly long finish. Further rich exotic fruit flavour profile opens up to a more round mouthfeel. Perfect with all kinds of fish dishes: its body can cope with flavoursome smoked salmon, grilled tuna and swordfish with a spicy sauce. It would be good with white meats and poultry too.
  • Ramirez de la Piscina Rosado, Rioja Alta, Spain - with it's pale pink in colour with some violet notes, this delicate looking wine has more to offer than meets the eye. On the nose it is fruity, mixing fresh red fruit with newly-mown grass. A good balance of alcohol and acidity in the mouth, leaving a pleasant sensation of ripe fresh fruit, with a touch of fizz. The ideal serving temperature is 8-10ºC. Great with anything spicy, Asian obviously, Oriental, Middle Eastern and Northern African, paella, poached or grilled salmon and poultry.
