It is flattering and dances with your tongue due to it's stainless steel maturation, with a great balance of acidity and roundness.To round of this intrepid Chardonnay, it can be enjoyed in front of the television with some snacks.

The vines of the Dealu Mare, which in Romanian means 'great hill slope', are the most famous and renowned vine growing area in Romania. It's 60km long on a steep hillside which starts from the southeast of the Carpathian Mountains, enjoying the sun from early morning and a good sunlight all day long. After the rain, the vines being on a gentle slope the water drains easily and the wind always dries the grapes rapidly. Famous for its red, the Dealu Mare also produces on its chalkier soils, whites of high quality.
The estate is 40 hectares in size and includes only 3 hectares of Chardonnay. The production of this noble grape variety never exceeds 20,000 bottles per year. The Chardonnay grapes are grown in compliance with the rules of organic farming, following the rhythm of the lunar cycles as the . vineyard also follows Biodynamic practice. The wine is vinified in stainless steel tanks to keep all it's freshness.
This Chardonnay is the result of the dream of a Burgundian specialist and a Romanian engineer. They were both convinced that the Dealu Mare was one of the few wine regions that could produce remarkable Chardonnay able to compete with the best Chardonnays in the world.
