It is designed for everyone who is new to wine, and provides a hands-on introduction to the world of wine. You’ll explore the main types and styles of wine through sight, smell, and taste, while also gaining the basic skills to describe wines accurately, and make food and wine pairings. You will also taste 6 main styles of still wines.
This course is being taught in our private classroom in one day (6 hours) from 10 am and finishing at 4pm with a closed book examination (multiple choice questions). Successful pass will mean you will be awarded with Level 1 Certificate and a lapel pin.
Price: £140, which includes study materials, tasting samples, exam and certificate.

beginner to intermediate level course to explore wines and spirits. It is designed for individuals seeking a core understanding of wines, this qualification explores the major grape varieties and important wine regions in which they are grown. You’ll learn about the styles of wines produced from these grapes as well as key classifications and labelling terminology. A basic overview of the key categories of spirits and liqueurs will also be provided.
This course is taught in classroom for 16 hours (three sessions: 6, 6 and 4 hours each, from 10 am to 4 pm) or via distance learning with our Skype, email and phone support. Please note that the exam cannot be taken online, candidates are required to attend it on our premises.
Level 2 exam is a closed book examination (multiple choice questions). Successful pass will mean you will be awarded with Level 2 Certificate and a lapel pin.
Price for in class course: £360, which includes study pack, tasting samples of wines studied in the course, exam and certificate.

Price for distance learning course: £225, which includes study pack, at least 4 hours of guidance via Skype, phone or email; exam and certificate. Our classroom is limited to 8 persons only for a comfortable and personalised learning experience. There are no entry requirements for either Level 1 or Level 2 WSET Awards, re-sits for the exams are also available at 50% course cost.
