Le Petit Beret have managed to find a way to create a grown up wine-like beverage that is certified organic, vegan friendly and halal certified. Its makers want to showcase the best of the grape varieties from the renowned French wine region of Languedoc-Roussillon. Throughout the process the vine juice is tested from harvesting through to bottling to ensure the 0% alcohol level.
After the grapes are harvested and selected, the organic grapes make thier way through a process thats the same as wine. However, this vine juice has not been fermented. Therefore, the sugar levels remain the same and will be higher than a bottle of wine. This vine juice has also been made with no additional sugars added.
They are also made without the use of any additional additives, preservatives yeasts or sulphites.
Please also note that this product is not wine. Due to French legislation in relation to wine, this product has to be renamed due to the lack of fermentation. However under the same laws, it also cannot be labelled grape juice.
