This Mallorcan organic white wine is straw yellow in colour with white gold highlights. It's bright and clear with clear aromas of fruits like melon, apple, pear and apricot juice. Harmonic touches of citrus lime and pink grapefruit also appear. White flowers are present providing fragrance and freshness. Once the wine opens up, the aromatic range expands, leading to honey and spices like vanilla, and then the aromas of fine toasted oak appear in the background, providing complexity.
The palate entry is generous, a grand tour. The ripe fruit is very present. The structure fills the mouth and natural acidity gives us freshness, lots of freshness. A very long and dry finish invites us to continue drinking.

Son Cortinel-lo is the historical name of a plot situated in a small valley at Es Fangar where only white grapes are grown. The name refers to an ancient measure used for wine (6.5 l), according to documents dating from 1527.
First selection in vineyard and later, grape by grape, at the reception table. The grapes are slowly pressed until a yield of 50% in must is obtained. Static must extraction.Fermentation in new French oak barrels of 225 and 500 litres. Subsequent maturation on lees for six months. Clarification by vegetable proteins and bentonite. Stabilised and filtered. Ageing: 6 months in the bottle, with only 1535 bottles produced.
The meticulous work with the lees and spending a few months in 225l and 500l casks, along with the acidity, hints that the life of this wine will be long. At least 8-10 years in the bottle.
