Festive Season's Wines | Case of 6/12 Assorted Organic Wines | No Added Sulphites & Vegan Friendly

We all want a celebrate a magical Christmas, and one of the best ways to enjoy the festivities is with truly spectacular Christmas Day lunch. But with all the stress building up to the big day, would you really be prepared to spend your Boxing Day struggling with the side-effects of sulphites?

So this case is a combination of 6 classic festive wines, all vegan friendly and made with no added sulphites, additives or preservatives. Not only that, if you are preparing something traditional, or something a little exotic this year, all these wines will match everyone's main focal point of lunch.

Their will be either 1 or 2 bottles of each wine in this case:

  • Aroa Laia Garnacha Blanca, Navarra, Spain; this Spanish no added sulphites white wine is richer and fuller and has a very fresh and deliciously fruity palate and aromas with delicate bitter apple and lemon notes thats ferociously perfectly balanced with a vivacious acidity.
  • Pierre Frick Chasselas, Alsace, France; with it's buttercup yellow colour, Jean-Pierre Frick’s white wine made without added sulphites, offers enticing and altogether unusual aromas of dry sherry, medlars, greengage and fermenting cider apples; the palate, however, reveals excellent tension with slithery acidity.
  • Castello di Tassarolo Titouan Gavi, Piedmont, Italy; only the perfect cortese grapes make this subtle, soft white with great finesse and a long expressive finish. A richer and fuller style of Gavi than the Spinola, with some similarities in flavours and aromas, including tangy white fruits, brioche with what feels almost like a crunch.
  • Castello di Tassarolo Titouan Barbera, Piedmont, Italy; on the nose you'll find wild dark berries and cherries, the palate is warm, soft, round and balanced, simply delicious! Drinking well now but would be great if you can stash a few bottles away in the cellar.
  • La Ferme St. Martin Les Romanins, Cotes du Rhone, France; when an organic Grenache meets Syrah and Cinsault, you get this humble and rustic southern Rhone wine. Shiny purple in colour and warm nose of confit fruits of damsons and black plums, thats overlaid with garrigue - scented pepper, herbs and spice. A very round, fairly complex and juicy Cotes du Rhone.
  • Aroa Garnacha Tinto, Navarra, Spain; fermented in stainless steel and vinified without sulphur, gives this is a very fruity expression of Garnacha with lifted aromatic and ripe strawberry fruit-and-pepper. Certified organic and no added sulphites red wine. It is light in style, with a pronounced aromas of red fruit and spice. Mellow and also light flavours that linger but not overpower.

We hope you enjoy these classic organic wines, and wish you the best, health and happiness over this festive period!
