This wine case includes (have a look at individual bottles to read our tasting notes on these sulphite free wines, opens in a new window):
1 bottle of a very fresh Italian white wine that is coming from Veneto: 'La Biancara' Masieri Bianco 2015; made of Garganega grapes it offers both citrus and orchard fruit flavours, some almond notes and even just a touch of biscuits. Great wine to match with light starters, delicate chicken dishes and could be a very interesting aperitif as well.
1 bottle of Pinot Grigio Redentore from Italy - an elegant white wine with fruity aromas which are accentuated with nuts and toasted almonds. Flavours are fresh with an excellent balanced minerality. Pair with delicious starters, soups, vegetables risotto and grilled fish.
1 bottle of Gavi 'Spinola' from Castello di Tassarolo in Piedmonte, Italy; classy white wine with delicate stone and orchard fruit and some minerality. We personally think that it tastes like a good but still sparkler - you do not get bubbles, but instead rich biscuit and nutty flavour profile. Soft apple crumble flavours, lasting quite long on the palate with its crumbly biscuits, tangy and broad, but not spritzy.
1 bottle of juicy Spanish Tempranillo 2016 Parra Jimenez; it is a very juicy red wine, with more red and also black fruit notes, yet also fresh and deep; pair it with grilled meats (lamb or pork chops), roast chicken or Sunday roast with all the trimmings.
1 bottle of super fresh and juicy Ottavio Rube Vino Rosso 2013 from Northern Italy made predominantly of organic Barbera & Dolcetto. It has vibrant cherries and generous spice flavour profile together with a bit of pepper kick. It is playful, quite youthful and perfect with your stews that contain beans.
