Understandably, it can be sometimes a bit of a disappointment when you pick that new bottle of wine and it is too light for your tastebuds. Similarly, you can be quite frustrated when you buy a bottle and it appears to be a powerhouse of all red wines possible; and you wanted something smooth...
We hear you! Hence we've created this members only case that we will change every month: it consists of 6 medium bodied organic red wines from all over the world. Medium bodied wine can be juicy, can be smooth, definitely not too light or overly big. It is the most versatile category if you are hosting a dinner party or entertaining friends.
Our May case consists of:
1 bottle of Max 2014 from Castilla Y Leon region in Spain, expressive red made of Tempranillo, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon.
1 bottle of K12 Carignan from south of France; smooth and velvety with pleasant red and black fruit combo and herbs.
1 bottle of Le Roc 2014 from south west of France, made predominantly of Negrette, so it has a very deep dark red colour, intensely perfumed but still not overpowering at all.
1 bottle of super popular Cannonau Sartiu 2015 from Sardinia; featured by Jamie Oliver in his Super Food programme and currently one of our bestselling wines it fits the bill perfectly being a playful juicy organic red wine that is rich in antioxidants but not overly rich or strong.
1 bottle of Armador Syrah from Chile; wine that has a bit of a sweet and spicy tang to it, it is perfectly balanced and satisfying red wine.
1 bottle of Las Ninas from Chile, made of classic Rhone blend of Syrah & Mourvedre but grown and produced in Chile. Smooth and juicy, great example of everyday organic red wine.
We hope you'd enjoy this case and should you subscribe for it, you can save on this wine online and ensure some different medium bodied wines are going to arrive to you next month too! Cheers
